Word doc attached to Email, autopoulate to: field

I am attempting to add a button to a word document that will attach itself to an email and go out to 4 recipients. The problem I am having is that Outlook cannont find the names in my contact list, because they are not in there. I am trying to do this with email formats of "someone@something.com". I have tried pretty much everything that has been posted here before, and it's still not working.
