I am using Word 2000. On a new page for example I am typing in June 24 2003 when I get to the 2003 part a box comes up above the text which says 2003-06-24 I press enter and 2003-06-24 comes up at the end of the line
I want to be able to enter in dates in just the June 24 2003 format press enter and a new line will start.
Is there anyway this can be done? I have checked and played around with the regional settings, date settings but no joy.
Any ideas?

Many thanks

Hi,

If you hit Enter at the time that the little help tag pops up, Word will insert the default format.

However, if you ignore the message and continue to enter the date the way you want it, then your own format is exactly what you will get. :)
