Does ID have a Word Count option for MAC?

And if not can someone write a script which will do it, Please

Marcus,

I know that v. CS does, in fact, have a word count option. I think it's in the "Info" pallette and that you have to make a selection in order for it to count the words (don't really remember, just bought it yesterday). Best to check the Help if you have CS.

Thank You "viol8ion" for referring that website it seems really excellent. Can you just tell me how do I install the script to indesign.

You don't tell us what version of ID you have, or what OS (Mac or Windows).

I would assume that since the file is an .exe in the windows version that you would just run it. I haven't tried, but usually there is a help file attached that gives you particulars.

When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.

I'm using ID 2. Mac

Thanks Viol8ion but...

I've already been to the link, and could only find PC word count.

And to answer Mechel's question.
When you download the script it should be either zipped or stuffed, But I have found the alot of the scipts are not, which means they lose their icons and therefore won't work.
If you get one that works you just have to copy the scipt into the scipts folder, re-start indesign and open the scipts window and it should be there.
