Hi all

New here so hope someone can help,

I currently use MS Word autotext to build up mu quotes and specifications but it is quite awkward to manage. Is there any alternatives to this so I may add descriptions to a template so as my word processing staff can just insert codes then F3 (or return) to insert the text

Regards

Chris

VBA Macros - Custom Programming. You actually can record the macros to start with if you need to.

Take a look at the Forms Toolbar.

You can load the dropdown with selections that the user can make. Depending on the complexity, you might need VBA as kjv as suggested.

There is no reason why you can not have "just insert codes then F3".

Word does not care if a the contents of an AutoText entries is dumped in with 412 + F3. So yes, absolutely, you can use codes if that would help.

Not Return/Enter after though. That would just put a paragraph mark after.
