Word and Excel user names on Citrix

Have been running Citrix XPS3 server for a couple of years in remote desktop mode. The users have access to word and excel 97 and they work fine, with the exception of one thing. The username which word and excel uses is the name "IT Administrator" which is who installed the applications. The problem comes when someone tries to open a word or excel file which someone else is locking - it says the file is in use by "IT Administrator", not the name of the user who is logged on. I've found no obvious way to change this.

I'm wondering if we upgrade to a newer version of word and excel that will solve the problem, can anyone comment on this - or any other ideas that may help?

I've had this issue before and doing an upgrade will help ONLY if you use the ORK tools.

Also....look in the registry under software\microsoft\office\11.0\common\userinfo and look at the user initial and user name keys.
