Hi,

Am Bak again. Thanks to Logius & mossoft for earlier replies.
Now am trying to find how to add a header and footer for a document using VBA and i want to make first page different from the rest of the document.

Use the macro recorder. Go to Tools>Macro>Record New Macro... and add the header into a blank page. Change the settings for the header/footers manually until you have what you want. Then, hit the stop button on the recorder and look at the code it generated. Generally there will be a lot more code than you need, but it's not too tough to weed out the extra data. ----------------------------------------
