Hi Everyone:
We have a mircosoft word doc that has been created with text boxes and this is how we enter our data on the patients that come into our health center.
We are getting ready to work with Medical Manager program and want to add these word docs into medical manager. We have been told that we need to purchase a transcription program to allow the two to work together. Shouldn't there be a way in which we could work directly out of the Medical Manager program instead working within 2 programs.
I wouldn't mind even copy and pasting the info into the new software but I don't know if that can be done.
I tried coping and pasting from word into word and even then the text was moved way over to the other margin. Does it have something to do with text boxes?
Thank you in advance for answering my questions!

From a programming perspective it should be possible to modify the word template to communicate with the database of the medical manager database if it is ODBC compliant. If it is not then you just may need a intermediate program that could even be created as a service that would read the information from the word document and append/update the information in the medical manager.

Good Luck

It might be worth trying to talk to other users of the Medical Manager software & seeing if they've had similar issues.
