I have a word document that has a mail merge set up with an access database.

I want the print out to be ordered by a field in the database but can't seem to work out how to do it.

When I click on the field header in the wizard nothing happens.

I tried setting the sort field as a key field but that didn't help either.

Can anyone help please?

Mike.

In mail merge recipients, click the header of the field that you want, this will sort the field alphabetically.
Hope this is what you want

No this doesnt work. Thats wahat I meant by the comment about the mailmerge wizard

Usde an access query to generate the data for the M Merge and set the list order in the Query.
