Word/Access mail-merge only returns 1st 5 records

Using Access 2000 mdb front end with SQL back end, a query finds 200 records but when a mailmerge is created in Word 2000 only 5 records are retrieved. If you select "Edit Source" in the "mail merge helper" all 200 records are displayed. No other filters appear to be in use. What am I
doing wrong?

Using this data source no log-in SQL dialog form appears before the database is opened. Is this correct?
