Hi, My first item on you site.
I am doing some work for a client taking a select query (with 81 fields) in Access and feeding it into word, with some VB to populate Check boxes.
Some of the fields are not populating correctly from the query in as much as if field e.g. "c2" (in the query can return a number of different numbers e.g.78 or 35, with the fall back being zero); word is reading zero on each occasion.
Does anyone have any idea as to why this is happening?

hi, and welcome to Tek-Tips.

Forum68 is designed to answer application related questions for MS Office.

MS Access has a number of different Tek-Tip forums, as Access is a much more complex application and not included in some Office bundles.

Seems that your question might be better addressed in forum705, since you are probably coding in Access VBA.

When you repost your question in forum705, please ALSO include the relevent code that addresses the issue at hand.

Hi Skip. No I think this is correct as the VB is in word not Access which is sql.

If your VBA is in Word or any other MS Office aplication other than Access, then best to post in forum707, as very little VBA is best addressed in this forum.
