Word 98 on eMac 9.2.2 - Space & Half

Our school just got a new eMAC running OS9.2.2 We installed MS Office 98 and our Word (Ver 8) program shows and prints everything in "space and a half". It converts previously created documents to "space and a half", yet formating options show only single space. The same documents are single spaced when opened on our iMACs. All new documents are space and half.

The desktop icons are are newer style like OS X, but the operating system is not OS X.

Is this a compatibility issue? Any help would be appreciated. TIA

As a school you should be able to get the current version of office at a low cost than the rest of us.

9.2.2 is Office 2001
OSX is Office x

By default the New emacs come with OSX installed as the main operating system.

If you can't fix it in 20 minutes call someone who can.
