I want to change my text to a different color than black, but I don't want to change it to the standard 16 color option when I click on the "A" to change my color.

In Paint, you can customize your color....is it possible in Word97? I thought it was.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks.

As far as I know that is not an option in 97. Not even with WordArt text box font. However Office 2000 has added this ability to customize Font color

We had the same problem, we needed to change the colour of the title in a mail merge document to our company colour, the only way around it we found was to:

Go to Insert/Object and select whatever paint program you use (we use Paint Shop Pro), create a text box and choose the size/colour and type your text.

A stupidly long way around it - but it was the only answer we found!!!
