We have got Microsoft Word 97 installed on a machine and in documents where they have used bullet points when they are printed they are printed as clocks.

Any ideas as i have tried searching for this problem everywhere and can't find a solution.

Thanks in advance

Lindsey

Hi,

Are they appearing as clocks on the screen, what sort of printer are they using?? It sounds as though the printer is seeing the bullett points as some fancy font "wingdings" ???

They only appear as clocks when they have been printed.

I have installed the fonts again that i read might cause the problem but still no luck. It only happens on this one computer out of about 30-40 that use Office 97 and 6 computers that use the same printer.

OK, strange one. What type of printer is it, it may be worth deleting the printer from the machine and reinstalling with a new driver.

Although saying that if you are using a HP4050, with a PCL6 driver, it may be worth going back to either a HP4000 or HP4050 PCL5e driver, if you want these emailed to you I can do that, as I have these readliy avaiable...
