Word 2K3 Recent Files List 1

Hi There,

In Word 2003 there's a list of recently opened files that shows in the Task Pane, as well as the "File" menu item.
Can this be emptied? If so, how?

Tools>Options...>General>Recently Used Files List(uncheck)

Open and close a document.

Task Pane and Recently Used List should now be empty

I'd done "Tools>Options...>General>Recently Used Files List(uncheck)"

but not opened and closed a doc. Soon as I did it, VOILA!

have a Star!
