Word 2010 -problem: n dashes become hyphens when printed

Hi! A user has a Word 2010 problem. On the screen the Word document is fine, all hyphens and n dashes are the way they are supposed to be. When the document is printed on paper all the n dashes have become hyphens. No change on the document on the display. Is the font bad? Could it be the printer driver?

If the document doesn't look different then I would suggest changing (latest or different) the print driver.
