Word 2010 keeps showing sorce code while opening attachments

How can I set my word 2010 to avoid displaying the attachment's source code before actually showing me thw text at the bottom. In short I simply want to click and open the included attachment and avoid seeing the source code when attempting to read the attachment in microsoft word 2010. Please help!
