Word 2010 is freezing when I save a doc

This has been working, but for some reason, now when I save something, it freezes and stops responding. I've tried re-installing, done google searches, which told me to turn off auto-save, don't have a clue what to do. I'm running Vista on a laptop. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You don't say precisely which version you are using, but Word 2010 is beta software, and may have any number of problems.

If you identify a problem (which is, after all, what beta _testing_ is about), you should check it out and, if necessary, report it via whatever channel gave you the software in the first place.
