I'm now using Word 2010 and prefer to use Advanced Find instead of the Navigation box that appears with Ctrl F and then the dropdown options. I have customised a ribbon and added the command Advanced Find to it, but when I try to use Customise Keyboard Shortcuts, Advanced Find isn't available.
Not a big deal, but it's frustrating. Does anyone know how I can assign Advanced Find to a keyboard shortcut? I've tried to see if there is an option to change the function Ctrl F but can't find that either.

Under Customize Keyboard, select All commands from the list on the left and then scroll down the list on the right to find EditFind (the old command that still does what it did) and assign whatever key combination you want, including Ctrl+F

Enjoy,
Tony

Thank you Tony. I never bothered to look what it was called before because it was the default!
