Word 2007 question

I had a question that intrigued me. I was asked if, when a user opens a document in Word 2007, can Word automatically go to the end of the document? I said, just hit Ctrl-End and it takes you there. The response: I'm lazy and I don't want to do that.

So there's the question. I looked through various options but didn't see anything. Anyone know of a way to have Word automatically go to the end of the document? (This person is writing long multi-page documents and just wants to resume where they left off writing).

TIA.

Write a wee little macro; something like this:

Private Sub Document_Open()
Selection.EndKey Unit:=wdStory
End Sub

If you are going to start typing your hands are on the keyboard (I presume).... It's just one keystroke combo. If you are too lazy for a keystroke; how lazy are you writing the doc?

Another Victim of the recession

I've got 300+ page documents that I write all the time but I open them and hit Ctrl-End to get to the end. It never bothered me before. However, someone posed the question to me and it intrigued me so I posted it here since I couldn't find anything about it anywhere else. Thanks for your reply.
