Word 2007 paste error

I'm having a problem in Word 2007 where any time that I try to paste anything, from any other program into Word, it will crash and restart. Fortunately, it comes back with a saved version before it had closed. But unfortunately, I have to type out any links from my browser and I can't copy any records into Word files. This may have happened during the last Microsoft update, but I can't be sure. Any ideas?

Have you tried running 'MS Office Diagnostics' (see under Word Options|Resources)?
