Word 2007 opens with uncontroleable huge font.

After some 5 years Word 2007 has suddenly taken to opening a new page with huge uncontroleable font in the centre of the page. I have ran AVG Virus. I have "repaired" Office 2007 with the disks orginally provided by MS. Nothing works.

This started after I had copied/pasted Excel info onto a blank Word 2007 page.

How do I cure it?

Find NORMAL.DOT and delete it. Word will rebuild a new one without the error.

You should be able to find Word's Normal template by inputting the following into Windows Explorer:
C:\Documents and Settings\%Username%\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates
Rather than simply deleting the Normal template, I'd suggest re-naming it. That way you might still be able to recover any customisations you have.
