I have a single cell with a percentage (up to 100%) in it. Is there a way to highlight this cell as if it were like a progress bar? I am unable to get the Data Bar to give me the result that I am looking for.

If the cell = 20%, I would like to see an actual 20% highlighted.

Thoughts?

hi,

Word 2007? Cell? Data bar?

Skip,

My brain thinks it's still Monday...

I definitely meant Excel. :)

Data Bars in a column display bar lengths relative to the MAXIMUM value in the column. So you need at least on cell in the column with a value of 1.

Regroup!

EDIT the CF (Manage Rules).

Change the Shortest Bar TYPE to NUMBER with a value of 0.

Change the Longest Bar TYPE to NUMBER with a value of 1.

VOLA y'all!
