Hallo,

I would like to select a ribbon programmatically. Is that possible?

Thanks

Hi karerda,

For automation, why do you believe it's necessary to select the ribbon?

much more complicated then I expected. But it works. Thanks

hallo Tony,

I realised that your code works only with the english version of Word. Do you an idea on why and where i should have a look? thanks

Hi karerda,

My guess, without digging in (and I don't have a non-English system handy) would be that the reference to [blue][tt]Commandbars("Ribbon")[/tt][/blue] in the UserForm_Initialise routine will need localising.

As far as I can recall, the main body of the code doesn't have any literals, and I don't know whether Accessibility uses local names, although that would depend on the Windows language rather than the Word one.

If that doesn't point you in the right direction, come back and I'll do some further checking.

Enjoy,
Tony
