Word 2003 Through Citrix problem (HELP!!!)

Hello all,

We are running a Citrix metaframe 3.0 Environment and have published Office 2003 to our whole organisation, we are having problems when a user opens a word doc from my computer or explorer, the document comes up completely blank.

But if you start up a Citrix desktop and open the doc it is ok, also if you open the doc through a published explorer it is also ok.

any ideas???

I've seen this issue before.
We were publishing out a desktop to our end-users and our GPO was redirecting the "Application Data" folder to their home directory.

We started seeing problems when the end-user would open an excel or word document...it would be blank. We started tracing the problem down to security permissions on either their roaming profile or home directory.

To resolve the issue we either reapplied security to their home directory (give their user account, system access to their home dir) or blow away their roaming profile.
