Word 2003 - page number

I need to put different format(alignment) of page number each section. I inserted section break, yet, If I change the format of page number in one section, this stupid Word changes the format of whole document.
I need you help on this.

Following is what I want to do.
table of content - roman numeric, alignment: center
main section - arabic number, alignment: outside

How would you do it?

After inserting your section break, break the 'same as previous' link. Then you can have a different paragraph alignment for the page number in the new section.
