Hello,
I'm having a really unusual problem. It only happens to two people out of 75 in our office. We have macros that pull up letterhead and everytime we add a new attorney I have to replace everyone's normal.dot template with one that I made that includes the new macros.
Now it has always worked fine before. We are using Office 2003, everyone is on service pack 2 for office, Windows XP Pro Service pack 2 OS.
These two people cannot save changes to their normal.dot. They create new toolbars, close word, open it again and it disappears. They also cannot save auto text. I was able to get it to sometimes save the toolbar if they open the template in edit mode rather than just opening a new document and making changes and closing it. I've checked the permissions on the normal.dot file and everything is normal. It is not read-only. I also tried recopying my version to their templates directory - same problem. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks.
