Word 2003 insert picture question

I have a user with the following problem:

Inserts a picture into a word doc, then goes to insert another picture and the dialog box doesn't open to the location he just retrieved the last picture from. He has to navigate to it again. How do you make Word remember the directory you just opened?

You can change the default picture location...
Tools-Options, File locations tab.

Or that is not what you want?
Anything else will likely require code.
