I have a form and want to add a field that will pick a list of employee from an access database. The databads has fields for last name and first name fields. I also added a search combo box that display last name and first name to show the record when you select it. So I like to use this data to populate the field in word.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Hi,

Why not use the MailMerge feature?

What I require is a pick list. Selecting 1 person out of a 100 on the list. So require a drop down box with a list (but by starting to typing the surname it will find the person). Sorry I may not have explained the problem correctly

You essentially have that capability in MailMerge: To select ONE row.
