Hi All,
I'm trying to create a form that has drop down lists and blank table cells for text entry, but when I activate the drop down lists by protecting the document, the ability to enter text is taken away.
Any ideas on how to do both in the same form?

Many thanks
Phil

Put formfields in ALL the places you want users to enter data.

If I understand what you are trying to do, you can add section breaks and protect the sections that have the drop down lists and leave the other parts unprotected to allow The user to enter text.
