My HP Laserjet 4 Plus printer is pausing after printing each page of a long document prepared using the legal pleading wizard. The document was actually drafted using Word 2000 on a Win98se computer, and I had no problem printing the document quickly from that computer. My new computer is running Win2kPro and has Office XP with Word 2002. I can no longer print the same document that I was able to print on my much less powerful system. Are there any fixes for the problem which I think is attributable to Word 2002? I have ordered 2 memory upgrades for the printer but I am concerned that the printer's CPU might not be powerful enough. It is sufficient to print a 60 pages document with legal pleading embedded though. The problem document is 180 pages.

Karen, with the system that is having the problem, go to Printer properties, Advanced tab, Print Processor and make sure Raw is selected.

Also suggest re-installing or updating the print driver. "A married man should forget all his mistakes. There is no point in two people remembering the same thing."

I just checked and RAW is selected. I've will try reinstalling the printer driver. This is only happening on this one long document on my new system. I noticed in the printer processor list that there are versions of RAW. Will any of those work?

Thanks

Karen
