word 2002 not printing bullets?

I have a computer with office xp pro. In word it will not print the bullets in a document. Everything else will print. I have reinstalled the print drivers, installed the most recent service release for office, but nothing has worked so far. Has anyone got a clue as to what could be the problem?

Have you tried changing the font of the bullets?
Perhaps they were created using a printer font, and you're no longer using that printer...

You should be able to test by creating a new doc, go to Format-Bullets and numbering, choose the Bullets tab. Reset all bullets. Choose one of the "default" bullets.

If the bullets show up in Print Preview (File/Print Preview), then maybe you need to re-install MS Office.

Is this in a normal document or are you doing something creative like a mail merge?

If it shows in the Print Preview, then Office is okay. What you need to do is to update the print drivers, get the most recent print drivers for your printing device.

Also try to change the color for the bullets. that might help. I hope this will help.

Actually, print preview will show wrong too, if it's the wrong printer driver.
