Word 2002 losing its 'recent files' list.

I rely a lot on the 'recent files' under File. Recently, I've found that it 'forgets' the day's work - it shows them at the top of the list during the working day, but the next day it no longer shows them.

I'm using a 'Normal' file that is shared by several hundred people, so I can't go changing it. Besides, it has always been fine before now. Does this make sense to anyone?

This is usually because TweakUI has been installed and is set to clear all recent History - which includes the RU Files cache in Office apps.

If it's not that problem, is Word maintaining its correct default font and page setup? Test by changing a default and see if it is OK.
