Using Win XP Pro - Office XP - Word 2002 - (happens in Word only) - to an HP Laserjet 4000. (All other programs print okay). Printing through the network (NT40 - ethernet - jetdirect cards in laser).
Document prints but leaves off the bottom part of the page (aproximately 1/4 the page)- reprints okay (usually). Happens often (daily) - but not every time.
I have tried three different printer drivers PCL6 - PCL5e -PS - and I've downloaded the most recent version of each. I have installed all known patches for Word and for Windows. I have updated the firmware on the printer. I have tried many different settings - including turning off the Advanced Printing feature.
This has happened to about 10 different workstations with same configuration.
Anyone seen this - or have any clues as to what it might be?
