Hi guys,

How do I change the default paper size from Letter to A4 under OSX.4 using Office 2001 under "Classic" ???

I can change it using File>page setup>selecting paper size>clicking default.

But that only change new documents.

How can I change it so that any doc file I open becomes A4?

Marcus

Set it up as you want it and then press the Default button (I'm guessing the Mac is the same as the PC in this regard)

Enjoy,
Tony

Documents have their paper size defined within them If they were created with Letter size paper while you had your setting wrong there is nothing for it but to change them individually.

If you have many of them and it's a problem you could write a macro to change it on Open.

Enjoy,
Tony

Doesn't Word 2001 have a Reading View?
