Hello, I have a template that I created in Word 2000 (Windows NT-if it matters) which we use for our letter head. It contains several fonts to create the look we want. If you can picture it they are contained in several 'boxes' at the top of the document. I have them in text boxes so they are easy to move. I also have a few words placed in the document to start them out , Todaysdate "RE:"
My problem is that A.) I know nothing about STYLES and I can't seem to get them to work right if that is the answer --pulling my hair out over them!!! SO here is my real problem;
I save the template as a master template(MTLET) so everyone can use the same letterhead here on our network. What has happened lately is that a user opens a new document based on my letterhead template, lets call the new doc --> newdoc1. They then open another document and copy some text. They then paste it in the new document(newdoc1) which was created from the template letterhead(MTLET)
.The new document does not use the font I have placed in the master template. So the user must go in and reformat the entire document to get our standard FONT back (CGOMEGA 12).
How do I get all pasted text ,etc to always use the font/paragraph settings that are in my master template. On top of all this they can send to multiple printers.
Thanks, if you need to see my master template I would be more than happy to share it with you.
Tom
