Word 2000, Windows98 System Lockup

Word 2000 inside of Windows 98 has been working great for a long time. Then something changed so that I can only change from draft to normal print mode (HP DJ 722C) by going to start/settings/printers/etc.etc. Instead, if I choose "print/properties"etc.etc inside of a windows application, everything locks up except my mouse pointer movement.

If I need to load a patch or driver, I don't know which it would be.

it may be as simple as loading the printer driver again.

go to start, settings, printers. right click on the the print. click properties. under details tab click new driver and follow the prompts.
