I have a table that I've entered dollar figures to. I would like to "format" the numbers to dollars easily.

Is there a way to highlight them and click an option to make this happen?

Thanks in advance for your help.
Lanie
etroidl@conaxfl.com

Are you entering them in a column or in a row? Select that entire row(s) or column(s) by clicking on the column letter or the row number. Then format it. Your headings will be okay because text cannot be formatted as numbers. If you headings are dates, however, format the columns or rows anyway, then select just the headings and format them back as needed. Hope this helps.

dreamboat@nni.com
<a href=
Sorry, Lanie. Duh! You said WORD!!

You can't format as dollars.

Try this workaround: put your stuff in columns and put the dollar sign in one column and the value in another. You can right-align the column with the values so your decimals all line up.

dreamboat@nni.com
<a href=
That second suggestions should be a good work-around. You'd think that Microsoft would have thought about that one....and included it in Word. Anyway, thanks you so much for your help.
Lanie
etroidl@conaxfl.com
