Word 2000 Mail Merge with Access 2000

I am using an Access 2000 database query to populate a word template. The problem I have is that one of the fields called Start_Time is displaying the time as Hours:Minutes:Seconds when it is imported into Word.

The field is held in Access as Short Time at all points, it is only in Word that it adds the seconds.

Has anyone any ideas as to how to format the mailmerge field?

Show the field codes for the merge field and add '\@ "h:mm am/pm" ' before the last brace } (without the single quotes) that should give you the correct format.
