Word 2000 default file location 1

When I want to open an file, Word starts in My Documents and I would like to change that default to another directory. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Sort by date Sort by votes
Tools, Options, File Locations, File Types select - Documents.
Click the Modify, Change location, Save
