Word 200 does not print the footer

Hello, The pc for the PA to the GM doesn't print the header and footer correctly. We can see the correct info on the screen but if you do a page preview it does show the codes i.e. &[page].
I have re-installed office. I have upgraded with the patches and I also went throught the ms website, I do not know what to do anymore.
Can you please tell me how can I resolved this problem she is driving me insane!!!!!

This usual cause of this is if the paper size in Page Setup is incorrect

It does print the whole page correctly but does not put the informamation requested in the footer. It can be page number or path and file name and it will show in the normal view but in print preview and printing will show &[pagenumber] or &[filename].
