Won't drop connection

I have a BT isdn card and Home Highway in a win98 box. Up to recently everything has been great, but in the last few days the connection won't drop if the Internet is not being used.

What is happening is that every 10 seconds 20 bytes are being sent and received, thus holding the line up.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? It is a right pain. Peter Meachem

make sure that all internet applications are shut down. You can do a (netstat -an 5 ) in your DOS command to verify port activity and ip addresses. “Reserve your right to think, for even to think wrongly is better than not to think at all”
