I don't know if anyone else has had an issue with this:
First call is answered, and they are going to call park that call. Before they have a chance to park it, a second call comes in. Calls that are parked while 2nd call is ringing, go to music on hold, or are dropped completely, and can't retrieve it.

At first, I thought the soft keys changed while phone was ringing, but they don't.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

There is a feature called auto line select. As soon as another call comes in the phone will go to that call, therefore what you experience.
Not the greatest way to handle it by default but that's how it is.
To remediate you have two options:
1. user will have to manually scroll back to the active call, highlight it on the phone and continue putting it on hold, park etc. Then continue to the incoming calls

2. Administrator can go into the phone config, via cucm web mgmt. interface, and disable the auto line select feature. then what I described in option 1 will be automatic for the user.

Whykap, thanks for the reply.
Is this a system wide setting or can this be done on an individual phone / line basis?
