Hi,
At question is an IBM Thinkpad 390. At boot up, freezes up on black IBM/Thinkpad logo which "used" to give me the choice to enter the bios by pressing f1. Now system halts. Not even with a startup disk, doesnt even scan disk...
One of two things could have happenend here, I was fooling around with the logo.sys or similar file extention found in the windows directory that has to do with bootable startup screen images. I renamed it to logo.sys.old then before I had a chance to place the new one in there I started doing something else and my PC crashed...Therefore hence my current situation...what should i do?
Oh ya the second thing i was refering to...this same day i spilled a few drops of coffee near my ESC key and might have shorted something out...
Please help need this to work this week!!
Steve
