I have a Compaq 12/24 dat drive and using 12/24 tapes. The controller is an Adaptec 21940. My small Novell Netware Server only has 9 gigs on it total. The drive ejects after 8 gigs. I have it set to overwrite,and have tried hardware and software compression.
I understand I will probably never get 24 but I was hoping for at least the native 12 and possibly 16gig. I need this because I want to backup some crititcal stations at night as well.
What am I doing wrong.
