Hi there,

I have just started working on with this function and have it going fine when I try and Map a drive on my current domain but if I try and map a drive on a different domain it just returns an error how can I do this.

Thanks
MULLY

This is a bit negative I am afraid.

As far as I know this function is part of a group which operates at a sub domain level.
i.e you cannot map to another domain.
Its just like using the map network drive dialog in explorer.
You can invoke that dialog with WNetConnectionDialog in the same group.
I presume you would need to log out of the current domain and log into the required one to access drives on that path.
if anyone knows how to do that ?
Steve

Thanks for the reply,

I have joined so onot a visitor anymore. Probably then what I will have to do is use the WNetConnectionDialog function and just select the domain from the shared directory list when the dialog box appears. Its a pity because I would have liked to have done it automatically anyhows thanks for your help.
