Hi,

Using this function (WNetAddConnection) supported in "mpr.lib", I am able to map a folder on LAN by mentioning its sharename. But when I try to map using its IP address or any other http folder, I get an error saying, no 'Network Provider found'.

Is there any other function to establish the http connection?
Any API?

Help...

Thanks in adv,
Chaitu

Maybe you should do an internet sharing for this folder. John Fill

under W2k you can doo right click on the folder and choose internet sharing. What to do forward is up to you. John Fill

You might try using WNetAddConnection2, I use this function to map some shared folders and have to use the machines IP address with it, and it works just fine.

Hope this helps.

cheers,
