due to some power cut my PDC went down and the BDC took over as the PDC. When the PDC which was down came up i started getting the errors

"The computer X and Computer Y both claim to be the domain controllers for the domain Z"

"The computer X tried to connect to the server Y using the trust relationship established by the Z domain. However, the computer lost the correct security identifier (SID) when the domain was reconfigured. Reestablish the trust relationship."

I don't know alot in the networking area, but if you are able to bring down the network, you could try shutting down the PDC and BDC and then start up the PDC first to see if it takes over.
