Does anyone use Macola's Warehouse Management System? Is it capable of operating like a bin replenishment system?

If you're referring to what was once called SAS by IPS, and I believe you are, I would say the answer is no. There are very few products out there, one being A-Scan (RF technology) that I believe would do what you're looking for. If you're looking to include BOL, UCC Label, and EDI ASN generation, A-Scan doesn't do it. It does a little of SAS, and SAS does a little of A-Scan. Having seen a live A-Scan operation, it was really unfortunate to see that SAS and A-Scan were not integrated. I would think integrating these into one package would be a real plus for Macola, and users.

- We use Radio Beacon. It has bin replenishment, UCC label printing and RF capability on portable handheld guns for picking, receiving etc. We use it integrated with MS Great Plains. Customer sript had to be written for the two to talk to each other but it works very nicely.

In terms of a "bin replenishment system" I am not sure of the details of what you are talking about, but for the most part I agree with JDonnewald, there is no "canned" solution, this needs to be configured for your particular needs.

Having said that, we have several clients using WMS very effectively. Perhaps if you define your specific needs we can address them more accurately.
