Hi,
Somehow the other day my kids upgraded to wmp11. I noticed that the sound coming out of my speakers wasn't near as good as it was. I've adjusted the volume and went into the advanced properties and everything else I can think of.

I rolled it back to wmp10 and still haveing the same problem. The sound is plenty loud, but just not as powerful as it was. For example, I have Limewire downloaded on my PC. If I play music through or with the Limewire player, it blasts all over the house. But if I use wmp I can turn the volume all the way up and not get the same effect.

Is there any other way to do some adjustements to wmp to get the same effect as another player? It's just like it's not putting out enough wattage as the other.

Thanks,
Chris

Are they the same files, and source of files, that you are using for the comparison?

Does it make any difference if you change the Default Player choice for these file types?
