WMA Lossless files distort after using the seek bar

Hi, I recently ripped the entire Beatles CD Catalogue to WMA Lossless (after having them as 192Kbps MP3s for a year) for archival purposes mainly because the CDs are quite old (around 5 tracks in total had unrecoverable errors already according to Exact Audio Copy).

Anyway, the files play fine in WMP11 (they're all in my main playlist), but if I use the seek bar at all while playing the song (e.g. the song's been playing for one minute and I move the seek bar to 0:30), WMP11 doesn't crash or anything, but the music distorts during louder bits (but not just "loud" bits, there's a lot of it). This ONLY happens after using the seek bar, and does NOT happen for any of the MP3 files that I have.

So...is this a known bug with WMA Lossless + WMP11 or what? Any possible solutions?

I just tried some files in Media Player Classic and none of them distort after using the seek bar. So assuming they're using the same codec, it must be a problem with the combination of WMP11 and the codec.... but then, I don't know if they're using the same codec or not.
